Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an LH Panel Operator to operate Vacuum Overlay Coating equipment and support the coating of aerospace components in a production environment. You will monitor coating processes, set up equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and production requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
• Ability to operate Vacuum Overlay Coating equipment and related controls.
• Knowledge of vacuum, water, air, and gas systems used in coating operations.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vacuum Overlay Coating equipment in accordance with specifications, quality requirements, and production schedules.
• Monitor coating parameters and programs to ensure compliance with process requirements.
• Set up charging chambers, tooling, and equipment for production runs.
• Operate coating equipment in both manual and automatic modes.
• Monitor and maintain vacuum, water, air, and gas systems that support coating operations.
• Perform routine turn-around maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Make minor EB gun adjustments based on coating chemistry and weight gain requirements.
• Read and follow work instructions, process documentation, and operating procedures.
• Ensure product quality standards are met while maintaining production targets.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
