Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an Hourly - Direct Labor Coater Operator to operate the EB-PVD coating line, monitor HMIs, and ensure EHS and quality standards are met as part of a team with Operations Support, Engineering, Maintenance, and Management.

Overtime may be required and training is provided. The role involves following procedures, maintaining records, handling fixtures and equipment, and supporting the coater operators with loading/unloading and process steps to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education may substitute.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English; able to interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate coating-related processes and associated equipment; follow procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain timely record keeping, data entry (digital and handwritten).
• Ensure 100% PPE compliance while operating equipment.
• Support maintenance, engineering and quality initiatives; participate in 5S, TPM, SW, VM.
• Load/unload parts, assemble/disassemble fixtures, and assist with chamber loading/unloading.
• Cross-train in other coating areas and complete required training.
