Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Plasma Operator to operate plasma coating equipment and support processing of aerospace components in a manufacturing environment. You will apply coatings using low-pressure, robotic, and manual air spray systems, monitor process parameters, perform routine equipment maintenance, and ensure all work is completed to quality and production standards.

Starting rate is $28.64/hr for the 4th shift (Fri-Sun, 7:00am-7:00pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years experience operating plasma coating or related spray systems.
• Ability to read and interpret process indicators and gauges.
• Ability to wear a respirator and comply with PPE.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate low-pressure plasma coating and spray systems on aerospace components.
• Verify powder specs and processing parameters for each part.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance on plasma coating gear.
• Read gauges and meters to ensure proper operation.
• Follow work instructions and quality standards to meet production schedules.
