Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to support coating, surface preparation, and production activities for aerospace components. You will operate equipment, follow detailed instructions, verify product quality, and support production while upholding safety and continuous improvement standards.

You will work on 1st shift, typical hours with potential overtime. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong math skills including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Careful attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Apply spray coatings and monitor processes to meet specifications.
• Perform surface prep including grit blasting, grinding, sanding and cleaning.
• Operate equipment following safety, quality and production standards.
• Inspect finished work using measuring tools and ensure quality.
• Read blueprints and production instructions accurately.
• Maintain production records and 5S practices.
• Support multiple areas to help maintain production flow.
• Follow safety, environmental and quality procedures.
