Job summary

Louisiana Key Academy – Northshore seeks a dedicated Guest Teacher to cover a temporary leave from December through February. You will provide classroom instruction, follow lesson plans, and maintain a structured, engaging learning environment to support students’ academic and social-emotional needs.

The ideal candidate has Louisiana teaching certification and experience with elementary/middle school students, including exposure to learners with dyslexia or learning differences.

Qualifications

• Louisiana teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with elementary/middle school students preferred.
• Experience working with students with dyslexia or learning differences is a plus.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team.

Responsibilities

This position will provide classroom instruction and support during a temporary teacher leave. The successful candidate will maintain a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment while continuing to support the academic and social-emotional needs of our students.
