Job summary

HTU is seeking an educator to foster a classroom culture aligned with its mission and values, delivering rigorous lessons that meet standards and differentiate for diverse learners.

You will manage classrooms to support students academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally, collaborate with colleagues in PLCs, and design and assess nature-based and project-based learning integrated with content standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education and DPI licensure required.
  • Strong classroom management, differentiation, and program evaluation skills.
  • Experience with competency-based learning and project-based instruction.

  • Participate in staff meetings, conferences, workshops, and required professional development including Summer Institute.
  • Communicate with parents using various methods as needed.
  • Guide placement procedures and participate in placement meetings for newly referred students.
  • Assist in selecting curriculum, equipment, classroom supplies, and other materials.
