IDEA Public Schools is seeking a 4th Grade ELA Teacher for IDEA River Bluff Academy in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role requires delivering rigorous instruction aligned to state standards and IDEA curricula, planning weekly lessons, and monitoring student progress to ensure college readiness.

The position offers a competitive starting salary of $50,000 with stipends and potential additional compensation through the Teacher Career Pathway, plus a comprehensive benefits package including paid

Qualifications

• High level content-area proficiency demonstrated via certification, field of study, or relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year institution required.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom strongly preferred.
• Holding or pursuing Florida educator certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Deliver content and grade-level curriculum and texts.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate student progress weekly to families.
• Maintain a behavior system aligned to campus initiatives.
