Jacobs seeks a VDC 4D Coordinator to join its international delivery team. The role blends hands-on production with experimentation to advance 4D/5D workflows across projects in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Proficiency in 4D platforms such as SYNCHRO or Fuzor, and experience with Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Understanding of construction schedules and how they connect to model elements. Primavera P6 familiarity is valuable.
• Experience organizing model information via Revit parameters, element coding, or similar data management methods.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly, collaborate across disciplines and time zones, and manage priorities across multiple projects.
• Interest in learning unfamiliar tools, troubleshooting problems, and advancing automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models connecting 3D elements with construction schedules.
• Prepare/structure/vet model data to support reliable schedule linking and updates.
• Identify schedule constraints, risks, and opportunities with project teams.
• Create simulations and visualizations to support planning discussions.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed.
• Coordinate work with an international delivery team and ensure deliverable quality.
• Improve workflows and test tools/automation for speed and accuracy.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedules, and cost data.
• Share knowledge to help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
