Job summary

Nova 401(k) Associates in Houston, TX is seeking Associate Account Managers to start January 2027. This role supports clients with 401(k) questions over the phone and provides high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction.

You will receive paid training and support to obtain industry credentials. Excellent performers may move into other positions after 18 months. The position requires five days per week in the Houston office, with potential hybrid setup after probation.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills and ability to compose professional emails.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and knowledge of phone etiquette.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and comfortable using a computer.
• Knowledge of VOIP phone systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of client service for team-based Solo(k) Services; client base not assigned.
• Manage and prioritize workload toward weekly goals in a team environment.
• Consult with clients regarding plan operation, design, and upgrading platforms.
• Follow-up by phone with clients about missing items.
• Assist firm-wide clients via phone, video conference, or email with census submission issues and Form 5500 questions.
