Job summary

Caliberr Staffing seeks a skilled Web Pressman to join a prominent commercial printing firm in a challenging, high-volume setting. You will manage daily production workflows, ensure stringent quality control, and operate web press machinery to meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, coordinating schedules with the production team, and documenting maintenance logs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience running a 40-inch web press.
• Demonstrated mechanical proficiency and numerical skills for calibration and issue resolution.
• Experience with color matching and ink preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation of web press components (roll stands, stackers, folders) per project specs.
• Collaborate with production to organize schedules and meet quality and delivery timelines.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on press hardware and maintain technical logs.
• Track availability of printing materials and alert when replenishment is needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment following OSHA, chemical safety, and applicable standards.
