Job summary

UniFirst in Florida is seeking a Warehouse Unloader/Loader to support the timely flow of clean and soiled garments and products. You will unload, sort, stock, and prepare shipments for delivery while enjoying a 5-day work week with weekends off.

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using standard US units.
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload clean product from plant transport shuttle upon arrival.
• Sort and stage clean garments and facility service items by route and delivery day.
• Piece in garments or stockroom items not sorted at plant to ensure correct route.
• Audit flag good carts and verify accuracy against load sheets.
• Identify, document, and communicate route shortages to the Branch Manager and teams.
• Load route trucks with garments and facility service items.
• Unload and sort mixed soiled garments and products by material type for return to processing.
• Load soiled products onto the outbound shuttle for return to the processing plant.
• Organize and load reductions and other items onto the outbound shuttle for return to the processing plant.
• Receive, label, and store incoming vendor deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
