Job summary

Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN, temporary 3-week coverage in Irving, TX. 40 hours guaranteed weekly, with daily pay option in some locations. Join a patient-care team and support therapists in evaluating and treating patients under established plans.

Requirements include an Associate degree in PTA and a valid Texas PTA license. This PRN position offers exposure to diverse patient cases and comprehensive benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Current Texas PTA license is required to practice in the state of Texas.
• Must pass all pre-employment verifications and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and use of assistive devices per the Physical Therapist’s plan.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures.
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on procedures and activities per the Physical Therapist’s direction.
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided and adhere to Physical Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
