Job summary

UC ANR invites applications for a Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development Advisor for Workforce Development serving Tulare, Fresno and Kings counties. This role focuses on creating youth programs that build workforce readiness and career pathways, while overseeing 4-H clubs and leading county educators and volunteers.

The advisor will engage with diverse partners, conduct applied research, and deliver engaging extension activities across California's San Joaquin Valley.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in youth and/or adult education or related field at appointment.
• Experience conducting applied research, program evaluation, and youth education programs.
• Ability to build partnerships with workforce boards, economic development groups, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver workforce readiness and career pathway programs for 4-H youth.
• Provide academic oversight of 4-H community club programs and lead county staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Tulare, Fresno, and Kings counties to expand impact.
