Job summary

The University of New Hampshire seeks a 4-H Program Manager in Durham to lead youth development initiatives within the Merrimack County 4-H program. The role involves facilitating volunteer support, planning educational activities, and ensuring effective community engagement.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree, possess experience in youth development, and have strong communication skills. Evening and weekend engagements are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as education or human services, and at least two years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Valid N.H. driver’s license or other effective personal transportation means.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the growth of the Merrimack County 4-H program
• Coordinate and mobilize volunteers for community engagement activities
• Serve as a county office administrator (COA) when appropriate
• Track program enrollment and effectiveness
