Job summary

Whitfield County Extension/ 4-H seeks a part-time program assistant to help plan, organize, and deliver the 4-H youth education curriculum to ages nine to nineteen. You will work closely with the Extension Agents, supporting meetings, newsletters, and club activities, and assist with events, awards, and fundraising.

The role requires strong organizational skills, a positive, team-oriented attitude, and reliable transportation for county and state travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Three years of progressively knowledgeable experience in public education/outreach or equivalent.
• Active Georgia Driver's License required; reliable transportation within county/state.

Responsibilities

• Assist County Extension Agents in planning, organizing, and evaluating 4-H programs.
• Greet and assist customers; respond to questions and direct to appropriate staff.
• Prepare materials for 4-H newsletters, meetings, and publications.
• Transport 4-H participants to events and assist with activities and judging teams.
• Support fundraising, fair entries, and summer programs.
