Job summary

Ohio State University Extension - Medina County seeks an Extension Educators Coordinator 3 to support the 4-H Youth Development program. The role partners with the 4-H Educator and County Extension team to plan, deliver, and expand STEM experiences for youth across schools, libraries, parks, camps, and clubs.

The position focuses on hands-on STEM curricula and Cloverbud programming, with travel to Medina County sites and state trainings. 40 hours weekly, regular schedule.

Qualifications

• Must pass Ohio State University background check and fingerprinting.
• Travel to Medina County and trainings in Columbus and other areas in Ohio.
• Coursework or experience in youth development, education, agriculture, or a STEM field is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and teach hands-on 4-H STEM curricula in various spaces.
• Lead Cloverbud programming including committee, day camp, and judging.
• Assist with planning, setting up, and managing events and registrations.
• Manage program equipment and data metrics to evaluate impact.
• Attend county fair board and junior fair meetings as needed.
