Cornell Cooperative Extension is seeking a Site Supervisor I for the 4-H Afterschool Program. This full-time role coordinates and delivers youth development activities for grades K–12 across several school districts in Jefferson County.

Responsibilities include supervising 2–5 site staff, ensuring OCFS licensing compliance, and supporting program planning, field trips, and community partnerships. Requires a relevant degree or equivalent experience and a valid NYS driver’s license.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent education (GED/High School Diploma and 1 year transferrable/program experience).
• Experience relevant to the role.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and ability to meet travel requirements.
• Ability to meet all School Age Child Care (SACC) and OCFS licensing requirements (Tuberculosis Test, physical exam, training requirements).
• Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends, as appropriate.

Responsabilidades

• Program Delivery: Teach a menu of 4-H programs including STEAM and healthy living; assist in lesson plan development and in delivering afterschool programming.
• Administrative: Provide supervision and staffing updates; assist in planning goals and fundraising activities as needed.
• Professional development: Participate in trainings to meet SACC/OCFS licensing requirements and pursue a development plan.
• Health and Safety: Support safe operations; follow health and safety policies and report hazards.
