Granite Industries (DBA DSS Ohio) in Archbold, Ohio, is seeking a Production Welder to weld and fabricate metal parts per blueprints and work orders. This hands-on role requires precision, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

The position operates a 4-day work week (Mon-Thu, 6am-4pm) with health and retirement benefits after 60 days. Applicants should have a high school diploma, welding experience, MIG proficiency, and the ability to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous welding experience required; certification preferred.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, with knowledge of other welding processes a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsabilités

• Perform MIG welding (and other welding methods as required) on steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all company safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
