Job summary

Adecco is seeking experienced Manufacturing Machine Operators in Mechanic Falls, ME. Earn $22-$32 per hour with a 4-day workweek and weekend-style time off. Shifts include days (6:30 AM–5:00 PM) and nights (5:00 PM–3:30 AM).

You will set up and operate manufacturing equipment, read blueprints, and support automation initiatives. Qualified candidates have 3+ years of machine operation, can read blueprints, and stand for long shifts while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with lathes and automated equipment is Highly Preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to stand for 10hr shifts and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Support automation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Conduct detailed quality inspections to ensure tight tolerances.
