Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and prior maintenance experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using hand tools and your own required tools.
• Reliable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Boiler experience is a plus, or willingness to obtain boiler license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and diagnose mechanical problems.
• Maintain and repair machine components, including gears, clutches, blowers, and other equipment.
• Complete routine tasks such as grinding cards, greasing, and oiling machinery.
• Respond to equipment issues promptly to keep production running smoothly.
• Maintain an inventory of replacement parts and supplies.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs using required paperwork or computer systems.
• Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment maintenance practices.
