Job summary

Carolina Yacht Club in Charleston, SC is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain an aesthetically pleasing outdoor space and ensure plantings are seasonally appropriate.

You will assist with irrigation, mowing, trimming, edging and pruning, care for flowers and shrubs, and keep lawns healthy through aeration and overseeding, while collaborating with the team and using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance.
• Ability to perform outdoor groundskeeping tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work as part of a team to complete landscape projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with irrigation system setup, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules for plants and lawns.
• Support landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning using hand tools and power tools.
• Help with planting, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth.
• Maintain lawns and landscaped areas by aeration and overseeding.
• Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
• Maintain the irrigation system that waters the flower beds around the Club.
