Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation's Parflex Division is seeking a Yarn Braider & Winder Operator for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am). Starting pay is $20.05/hr with a $2 shift premium, with overtime after training.

The role sets up and runs yarn braiding machines, transfers yarn, monitors tension, and performs quality checks. Candidates need a HS diploma or GED and manufacturing experience; forklift operation and basic MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED required.
• Machine operation experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate yarn braiding machines and winders.
• Transfer yarn between spools and bobbins; maintain bobbin condition.
• Monitor bobbin footage and yarn tension.
• Change tooling and gears to maintain dimensions.
• Ensure quality checks and record data.
• Package product per instructions.
• Support continuous process improvement.
• Report irregularities to Shift Supervisor.
• Participate in area and process team activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
