Job summary

SGB‑SMIT USA is hiring a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in the United States. You will fabricate components, weld tanks, and modify parts using MIG, TIG, and stick welding, following AWS standards.

We value reliable, safety-minded individuals with at least two years of related experience or training. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED.
• Two Plus Years related experience or training.
• Must be able to pass a MIG, TIG and Stick Weld Test.
• Must know and understand weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Weld cover and perform various tank modifications.
• Fabricate components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces.
• Set up and measure assemblies and select appropriate method.
• Operate cutting torches and plasma cutter to AWS standards.
