Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA is seeking a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team in the Louisville area. You will MIG, TIG, and Stick weld, fabricate components, and modify tanks according to AWS standards.

The role requires the ability to read welding symbols, set up equipment, and work from detailed drawings. Candidates should have at least two years of welding experience, a high school diploma or GED, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a MIG, TIG and Stick Weld Test.
• Ability to read welding symbols and interpret specifications.
• Two plus years related welding experience preferred.
• Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weld cover and perform various tank modifications.
• Fabricate components by cutting, preparing, and welding pieces.
• Operate equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld assemblies.
• Ensure compliance with AWS standards.
