Qualifications

Perform manual and mechanized FCAW welding in various positions.
Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Set up/preheat welding equipment and material handling tools.
Position and secure weldments using hitching and handling methods.
Execute single/multi-pass fillet and groove welds in all positions.

Responsibilities

Perform manual and mechanized welding using FCAW process in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical).
Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Set up and operate preheating equipment, weld positioners, and material handling equipment such as jib hoists, cranes, and forklifts.
Position and secure weldments using appropriate hitching and material handling techniques.
Execute single and multiple pass fillet and groove welds in all positions.
