Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Walker, MI is seeking a 3rd shift production operator to operate resistance spot welders and power presses. You will participate in quality checks, document processes, and ensure the flow of components through the line.

Qualifications

• Understands and can explain the company's Quality Policy.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Operates resistance spot welders and/or power press to weld, trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp stock.
• Ensures materials are present and ready for production.
• Inspects parts for conformance to specifications and flags non-conformances.
• Keeps work area clean and completes paperwork and tagging for traceability.
• Observes and complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
