Job summary

Tandem Foods is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support production, shipping, and receiving while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards under SQF/BRC. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safe practices to protect the team and products.

Responsibilities include GMP adherence, forklift operation, RF scanning, FIFO, and thorough documentation of all activities.

Qualifications

• Strong math and reading comprehension are required.
• Experience with MRP systems and RF scanners is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs and all SQF/BRC food safety/quality requirements.
• Operate forklift safely and follow proper procedures.
• Review production sheets to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Accurately pick customer orders using pick-tickets and RF scanners.
• Load and unload transport vehicles and ensure safe placement of products.
• Maintain forklift equipment and perform daily inspections.
• Document all shipping and receiving activities thoroughly.
• Follow FIFO procedures for all warehouse inventory.
• Adhere to inventory control and MRP system policies.
• Perform housekeeping and maintain safe, organized warehouse areas.
• Support other warehouse or production duties as needed.
