Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Building & Grounds (Sanitation) Salvage Warehouse associate for the 3rd shift (6pm start) in Greensboro, NC. The role focuses on keeping the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, free of clutter, and compliant with safety policies.

Responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, trash removal, recycling processing, and operating or assisting with cleaning and material-handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Knowledge of TRICEPS software or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse, offices, restrooms, and surrounding areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment; use sweepers, scrubbers, forklifts, balers, compactors and pallet jacks.
• Process damaged/orphan cases and reclaim items.
• Sort plastics and cardboard for recycling.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; work safely with chemicals and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
