Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• 2 years forklift experience
• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License
• Ability to meet MVR criteria as defined by regulations
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred
• Must obtain certification to operate required equipment
• Clear oral and written communication skills
• Manual dexterity and coordination required
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
• Basic measurement and math skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage time
• Sound decision-making abilities
• Ability to work with supervision and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment and fill customer orders
• Pull and assemble orders from documentation
• Tag material for identification and complete documentation
• Move material using forklift, side loader, or crane
• Operate yard truck for loading/unloading trailers
• Maintain a clean, safe work area
• Sort material by size, type, or code
• Spot-check inventory and ensure proper tagging
• Report irregularities to supervisor
• Restock material
• Occasionally drive a non-DOT vehicle for local deliveries
