Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support material handling and order fulfillment. The role involves operating forklift equipment and moving inventory to storage locations or shipping areas, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

You will be responsible for pulling materials, inspecting orders, tagging items, and maintaining a clean, orderly work environment in a fast-paced plant setting. A valid driver's license and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience or equivalent education.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to meet MVR criteria as defined by regulations and policy.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Must obtain certification to operate motorized material handling equipment.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Manual dexterity and coordinated movements required.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment and fill customer orders.
• Unload incoming material and maintain warehouse upkeep.
• Receive and store items, then pull and package orders per documentation.
• Tag material for identification and complete required paperwork.
• Move material using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Sort materials by size, type, or product code.
• Perform daily and ad hoc inventory checks and report irregularities.
