Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking a warehouse associate for all shifts with training on 1st shift for 8–12 weeks. You will receive, locate and issue material, support the material kitting process, and work in indoor/outdoor warehouses across Groton, North Stonington, Norwich and Plainfield.

Forklift operation and basic math are required, along with strong computer skills. This role demands reliability, ability to work outdoors/indoors, and comfort with hazardous materials

Qualifications

• 5+ years warehousing experience including receiving, locating, and issuing material.
• Must complete forklift training and certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• May work indoors and outdoors and across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Receive, locate and issue material across warehouses to support ship schedules.
• Support material kitting process and use computer/tablet tools to track inventory.
• Operate in warehouses located in Groton, North Stonington, Norwich and Plainfield.
