Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have 1 year of experience as a security supervisor.
• Must have 3 years of security experience.
• Open availability to work all shifts/schedules.
• Reliable transportation and good communications skills.
• Ability to stand or walk long periods and navigate stairs daily.
• Reliable, positive attitude and ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance/exit of employees, visitors, and others to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Circulate among visitors and staff to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent hazards, theft, or infractions.
• Enforce rules, respond to emergencies, assist customers and employees.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
