Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking an entry‑level technician to support the Accelerated Design Verification group. You will assemble test rigs from layout drawings, set up equipment, and monitor tests to ensure data is captured accurately.

Candidates should have a mechanical background and basic Windows/Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to read dimensioned drawings. Training is provided for the right candidate; shift is 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.

Qualifications

• Experience with machinery teardown and repair.
• Ability to read dimensioned part drawings and test layouts.
• Familiarity with Windows file/folder structure and basic file operations.
• Strong computer skills and comfort with MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Experience with servo-hydraulic or hydraulic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble test rigs from layout drawings and setup instructions.
• Monitor and adjust test controls to keep tests proceeding smoothly.
• Perform test specimen inspections and basic repairs as required.
• Document test activities and incidents in a web-based system.
• Coordinate with client personnel to address safety and environmental issues.
• Conduct routine lab maintenance and organize tools/equipment.
• Pickup parts from the Client Parts Distribution Center and run errands.
