Job summary

Nucor Buildings Group in Illinois is seeking a Structural Machine Operator for the 6p–6a shift on a 3–4 days/week schedule. You will operate multiple machines in the structural department, follow prints, and maintain safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety in all job aspects.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of LOTOTO program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Focus on continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC presses/punches, CNC plasma, and other equipment as needed on diversified work.
• Read and follow prints, cutting lists, and orders.
• Maintain records such as preventative maintenance and inventory tracking.
