Job summary

SB Foot Tanning Company, part of Red Wing Shoe Company, is seeking a 3rd Shift Equipment Maintenance Technician / Steam Plant Stationary Engineer in Red Wing, MN.

You will maintain and repair boiler systems and production equipment, perform troubleshooting, and support plant operations with safety and quality standards.

Hours are Sunday night through Friday morning 9:30pm-6am with overtime; base pay ranges from $29.60 to $32.35 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Mature maintenance skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and industrial controls.
• Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot/repair manufacturing machines and support equipment for safe plant operations.
• Operate and maintain high pressure steam plant.
• Identify and operate basic tools and materials used in machine repair.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and controls.
• Install new machinery and repair mechanical/electrical systems on production equipment.
• Operate test meters and measure voltages.
