Job summary

Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair all plant equipment. You will identify and use basic repair tools, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and install new machinery across production lines.

You will work closely with machine operators to ensure peak performance, minimize downtime, and support safety and quality programs. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and a willingness to pursue ongoing

Qualifications

• 3 years maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to attend educational classes/seminars to continuously develop skills.
• Prefer previous Maintenance Technician or Multi-Craft Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment owned and operated by Red Wing Shoe Company.
• Identify and operate basic tools and materials used in machine repair.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and repair as needed.
• Install new machinery and repair mechanical and electrical components on production lines.
• Coordinate production flows and ensure safe, efficient operations.
