Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Stacker/Feeder for our Chicago Sheet plant at 5555 W 73rd St, Bedford Park, IL 60638. The role runs on the 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, supporting a manufacturing operation to boost productivity, reduce downtime, and handle diverse plant-floor tasks.

You will work with production personnel, follow safety rules, and be eligible for overtime, weekend shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, holidays, 401(k), and

Qualifications

High School Graduate or GED.
Experience in manufacturing environment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be willing to work 3rd shift.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work.
Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
Other duties as assigned.
May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs.for a period of up to 12 hours.
