Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring a Clamp Truck Operator on 3rd shift at our Chicago Container plant in Bedford Park, IL. The role focuses on safe movement of product, daily safety checks, and strict adherence to manufacturing practices.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, experience in manufacturing, and the ability to operate a propane-powered forklift. US work authorization is mandatory, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certified industrial driver or ability to get certified in a timely manner.
• Ability to safely operate a propane powered forklift.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Move product from truck to staging area safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and keep area clean and safe.
• Execute lockout/tagout procedures on trailers.
• Maintain housekeeping and good manufacturing practices at all times.
• Pick and stage orders and load/unload trucks while preserving inventory integrity.
