Hitachi Energy is seeking a Shipping Supervisor for the 3rd shift in the Mount Pleasant, PA area. You will lead third-shift shipping operations, directing a team of logistics professionals to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related business applications.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification; ability to perform physical warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all third-shift shipping operations, including picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipment documentation.
• Supervise, coach, and support shipping team members to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Ensure outbound shipments meet customer requirements, company standards, and transportation regulations.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and collaborate with inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve shipping issues, damaged materials, and delivery-related concerns.
• Promote and oversee safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost performance.
