Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Jefferson City, Missouri is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and oversee continuous improvement in a fast-paced facility.

You will guide a skilled crew across 3rd shift (11:30 PM to 7:30 AM), develop people, optimize processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of manufacturing experience, plus knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of manufacturing experience in industrial environments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Ability to work across shifts and occasional weekends.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Lead a production team to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
Foster a safe, organized, and positive work environment through coaching.
Schedule resources to meet production demands and minimize backlog.
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
