Job summary

CandyCo is seeking a 3rd Shift Shift Manager for American Fork, UT to oversee Production in Kitchen, Make-Up, and Packaging. You’ll direct Supervisors, Leads and teams to meet the production plan while upholding GMP and safety standards.

You’ll work with QA, Warehouse and Logistics to implement programs, train staff, and drive cost efficiency, ensuring a strong safety culture across the shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a supervisor/lead position directing Production activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills.
• Bilingual skills preferred, English/Spanish.
• Solid PC skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

3rd Shift Shift Manager | Production | Manufacturing

Full Time American Fork, UT, US

Job purpose

The Production Shift Manager is responsible for all production functions: Kitchen, Make-Up, and Packaging. This individual directs and monitors the daily activities of all Supervisors, Leads, and work area employees, while ensuring the production of all scheduled orders per the production plan are done per specification, GMP compliant and, to our Food Safety Policies.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage and direct all daily activities of Production Supervisors, Leads and their employees
• Efficiently supervise the production of scheduled orders efficiently and GMP compliant
• Works closely with QA, Warehouse, Logistics, et all to execute all planned programs
• Train and supervise Production staff personnel
• Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to FIFO, HOLDS, and Expiry of materials
• Maintain and improve Production cost-controls, headcounts, and Production line efficiencies
• Model and support the CandyCo Safety Culture and strive for 100% Safety policy compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a supervisor/lead position, directing Production activities
• Must be trustworthy, honest, and always maintains a high degree of integrity
• Must have an excellent Safety record and a champion of a Safety culture
• Must have strong, positive leadership, communication, and organization skills
• Bilingual skills preferred, not required (English, Spanish)
• Must have strong PC skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and math skills
• Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis. Respect to others above all.
• Past job performance must reflect dependability, maturity, initiative, positive personal

demeanor, excellent listener, and the ability to exercise good judgement

• SAP, ROSS, PLEX, or other ERP environment skill and abilities a plus, or must be able to learn

Working conditions

• Must be able to work any/all shifts as directed
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary, including Holidays and/or weekends
• Standing/walking for long period of time
• Must be an avid Safety Champion and adhere to all safety programs and procedures

Physical requirements

• A non-slip resistant work shoe
• Must be able to work all shifts as directed.
• Pre‑shift stretch and exercises to be performed
• Ability to work on their feet 8+ hours at a time
• Hair restraint, beard net (if needed), and Safety gloves as needed
• All required PPEs are worn properly when working with equipment or chemicals that require personal protection
• Position requires the ability to: stand, sit at a desk, walk around the facility, lifting and carrying up t0 50-LBS unassisted, reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting
• Also requires the ability to: see, hear, and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette
