Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet metal equipment according to blueprint specifications, work instructions, and production requirements.
• Become proficient in the operation and basic troubleshooting of all equipment within the Sheet Metal Department.
• Perform first-piece inspections and routine quality checks throughout production runs to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Verify dimensions using measuring devices and inspection tools.
• Conduct preventative measurement and bend checks prior to production startup.
• Monitor machine performance and identify potential quality, safety, or production concerns before they impact operations.
• Accurately complete required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments regarding production status, quality concerns, and equipment issues.
• Assist in training and supporting team members as needed.
• Adapt to changing production priorities and workload demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
