Job summary

Royston LLC in Royston, GA is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to perform fabrication and general labor tasks in a sheet metal environment. You will safely operate cutting, bending, and welding equipment, read work orders, and ensure quality in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work across departments as production needs change.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus.
• Experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment preferred.
• Stand/walk for extended periods as required by duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fabrication equipment and machinery, including cutting, bending, and welding.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, blueprints, sketches, and other documentation to determine production requirements.
• Follow established work instructions, procedures, and specifications to complete tasks.
• Inspect finished products and materials to verify conformance with quality standards.
• Identify and report quality issues or equipment concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform general labor and material-handling tasks and assist with setup/changeover.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
