Job summary

BD in Puerto Rico (Anasco) seeks a Set Up Operator to run production machinery, perform set-ups, inspections, and routine maintenance while keeping the line compliant with QSR and ISO 13485. You will troubleshoot and document data, support continuous improvement, and work with engineering and maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.

3rd shift 5pm–5:30am; bilingual Spanish/English preferred; join a global medical technology leader dedicated to advancing healthcare.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or 6 months SM equipment proficiency required.
• 2 years in medical device/pharma/cosmetics industry.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• MS Office knowledge and ability to read drawings/schematics.
• Ability to work in a team and take initiative.
• Able to communicate effectively and follow GMP/QSR/ISO13485 procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment following approved procedures and monitor product quality.
• Record production data accurately per procedures and safety rules.
• Ensure environmental conditions meet production specs.
• Notify supervisor immediately of deviations or issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and changeovers; support maintenance personnel.

Preferably bilingual (Spanish & English).
