Job summary

BD is seeking a Shift Leader to guide production associates, train new tasks, and assign work to meet schedules at our Puerto Rico facility. The role emphasizes adherence to ISO 13485, QSR, and safety standards while driving continuous improvement and accurate documentation.

You will lead on-line training, verify setup and line clearance, and ensure materials and reports are completed timely. Proficiency with SAP and bilingual communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; 2–5 years in pharma/medical device manufacturing.
• Strong mathematical and computer skills; familiarity with Windows.
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle diverse situations.
• Spanish & English bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train production associates on tasks and new processes to meet schedules.
• Assign personnel to jobs to align with production plans and priorities.
• Ensure products meet specifications and quality standards per ISO 13485 and safety rules.
• Review production documents and ensure DHRs are complete before QA handoff.
• Enter production data into SAP and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor equipment, line clearances, and work area cleanliness.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Assist Manufacturing Supervisor with related duties as needed.
