The Wilderness Resort is seeking hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer service-oriented individuals to join our fast-paced team. Employees enjoy great benefits, amenity access, and more!

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our property, employees, and guests.

This is a full-time, third-shift position with weekend availability.

*Must have a Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (or ability to obtain one) and an acceptable driving record*

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• Patrolling Wilderness Territory, including the Hotel, Glacier Canyon Lodge, Wilderness on the Lake, outside pool areas, and Wyndham Timeshares.
• Maintaining CPR and AED certification.
• Ensuring all areas are locked at appropriate times.
• Unlocking safes and running audit reports as needed.
• Assisting guests with directions and information.
• Supporting express check-outs when required.
• Performing housekeeping duties after hours.
• Investigating guest and employee complaints and notifying law enforcement if necessary.
• Securing lost and found items.
• Maintaining a daily activity log.
• Documenting important information in Report Exec.
• Patrolling parking lots and checking cabins, condos, retreats, River Ridge, Co A, and Bunker Rd properties.
• Monitoring boat docks and beach areas.
• Enforcing policies outlined in the employee handbook.
• Assisting with emergencies and other duties as directed by management.
• Ensuring all doors and gates are secured at designated times.
• Monitoring parking and issuing warnings for violations.
• Turning off fire pits at midnight.
• Maintaining visibility with guests and staff.
