Job summary

Herbruck's Poultry Ranch is seeking a night-shift cleaner to maintain the processing facilities to our quality standards. You will disassemble, sanitize and reassemble equipment, and operate power washers and air compressors to ensure clean, compliant work areas.

You must be 18+, willing to work weekends/holidays, and avoid contact with swine or birds. Safety rules, proper PPE, and bio-security reporting are required as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds.
• 3rd shift available.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize processing facilities to Herbruck’s quality standards.
• Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble equipment parts.
• Operate power washer and air compressor to clean equipment.
• Wet and scrub equipment as required.
• Follow cleaning and sanitizing checklists.
• Report incidents of bio-security concerns as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.

• Must follow all company HACCP rules and GMPs
• Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble the parts of the equipment.
• Use and operate a power washer
• Use and operate the air compressor to clean equipment.
• Wet and scrub equipment.
• Follow the assigned cleaning and sanitizing checklist.
• Perform any/all other duties assigned to you
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect, or breach of bio-security to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
