Job summary

Herbruck's Poultry Ranch in Michigan seeks personnel to maintain product flow in accordance with our Quality Standards. The role emphasizes strict HACCP/GMP adherence, safety rules, and accurate documentation of packaging, dates, and stamps.

Responsibilities include reviewing run sheets, preparing equipment, effective inter-position communication, and completing tasks on observation forms while supporting overall welfare and biosecurity of our birds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, or cattle.

• Ability to report incidents of abuse, neglect, or breach of biosecurity to preserve health and welfare of our birds.
• Follow the necessary glove policy.
• Review and understand the run sheet.
• Prepare necessary equipment as assigned.
• Ensure the product carton or case is correct, date coding and stamps are legible, and in compliance.
• Prepare the work area and necessary equipment as assigned.
• Effectively communicate with supporting positions.
• Complete all tasks on the Observation form.

Position Summary:

Maintain product flow, ensuring all products are handled in compliance with Herbruck’ s Quality Standards

Position Responsibilities:

• Must follow all company HACCP rules and GMP’s
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect, or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds
• Follow the necessary glove policy
• The ability to review and understand the run sheet
• Prepare necessary equipment as assigned
• The ability to ensure the product carton or case is correct, date coding and stamps are legible, and in compliance
• The ability to prepare the work area and necessary equipment as assigned
• The ability to effectively communicate with supporting positions
• The ability to complete all task(s) pertaining to the position found on the Observation form

• Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, or cattle

Physical Demands:

• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day
