Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation/Packer for full-time work in Nottingham, PA. The role runs Monday through Friday from 11pm to 7am and is onsite, with potential for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes for products.
• Verify seals, codes, dates, and prices on bags and cases.
• Remove defective products from production line.
• Clean and sanitize work area and plant equipment.
• Enter and track production data in the ERP system.
• Maintain ERP records with real-time status and maintenance data.
• Record raw material usage, machine usage, labor hours, and quality data in ERP.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment.
• Perform other ERP-related duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Full-Time Packer position, to join our Nottingham, PA team!

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
• SHIFT: 11pm-7am
• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

What You Need to Get Started

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Good balance on slippery surfaces.
• Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and label boxes to be filled with products off the production line.
• Ensure proper seals, codes, dates, and prices on product bags and cases are correct.
• Take defective products off the production line.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and plant equipment.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
