Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitor Team Member at $19.50 per hour. This hourly position offers paid vacation and holidays, medical, dental and vision benefits, a 401(k) plan, and an onsite cafeteria.

You will sanitize machinery and floors in a production line, set up cleaning equipment, monitor sanitation, and ensure safety. High School Diploma and English proficiency required; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Must be well-organized with good attention to detail.
• Display strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others.
• Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.
• Strong desire to work hands-on work environment.
• Good attendance and safety records.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitor and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Operate heavy equipment
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
• Perform other duties as needed or as assigned
